About

What a long strange trip its been

When I graduated from George Mason University in May of 1979 I was not sure what I was going to do. Should I go get my Masters degree or use my Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and become a CPA.

Not sure what to to do, I started playing men’s softball in the meantime, makes sense right. Well the guy who was sponsoring the team was the controller of a large local residential sales company. We started to talk and he said he had a friend who was looking for a first year staff accountant.

I went to see him and he hired me in June 0f 1979. I have been working as a CPA in Northern Virginia ever since in various local CPA firms as an employee or a partner. I founded R. K. Hudson, PLLC in May of 1998.

I have lived in Fairfax County since 1969 so I have seen a lot of changes. I raised both my children here and coached some in their neighborhood sports leagues.

I enjoy helping my clients succeed in their chosen discipline.
